Winner Team Singapore with Nicolas Luc Villeroy (6th person from the right) and Hereditary Grand Duke Prince Guillaume (6th person from the left) Five days marked by the finest cuisine: More than 1000 top chefs and patissiers from all over the world met for the Villeroy & Boch Culinary World Cup in Luxemburg November 22nd – 26th as part of the trade fair Expogast, in order to compete against one another. This year the coveted trophy went once again to the team from Singapore, which was able to defend its title. And as in 2010, Sweden and the U.S. once again secured the other top places.

Together with his Royal Highness Grand Duke Guillaume von Luxemburg, Nicolas Luc Villeroy, Board Member for Tableware of Villeroy & Boch AG, awarded the prizes as well as decorated serving platters from the Collection Affinity with a special design to winners.

According to Villeroy, “We have been closely connected to the Culinary World Cup from the beginning and because of our conviction we have been the main sponsor and given our name to the event since 2010. The Culinary World Cup and the brand Villeroy & Boch go very well together. Both stand for the highest demand for quality, skill, creativity and innovation. It also presents us with an important opportunity to be in contact with international chefs and also to bring them into contact with our products.”
