“We are absolutely delighted to be the official distributor for the Stone Notebook,” says Valda Goodfellow, Managing Director and co-owner of G & G, “this is one of the most exciting products I have seen. As soon as I heard about it, I knew it would be a real must-have for chefs. This was confirmed when the Social Media campaign started even before we had any stock. We were literally inundated with requests and pre-orders.”

When it came to Bookblock finding the best partner for distributing this product. Stefan Johnson, Creative Director of Bookblock says “Goodfellows is a company that understands the importance of both practicality and beauty. Their emphasis on curation and telling the story of a brand made them a clear choice to represent the Stone.”

The Stone Notebook is designed and created especially for chefs, with its stone paper, which is grease and waterproof, its lay-flat design, which makes it easy when writing in the kitchen with one hand and its integrated magnets, meaning it won’t move on stainless-steel surfaces.

“The notebook is such an important tool for any chef,” says Stefan, “whether it’s creating new dishes or organising their stock. We wanted to create a product that wasn’t just practical and hard-wearing but beautiful too. We reached out to over 50 chefs and spent 3 months in development. We think we’ve created something every chef would welcome into their kitchen.”
