After spending over 6 years in their Plate Cave showroom on Baker Street in London, UK hospitality tabletop experts Goodfellow & Goodfellow Ltd. (G & G) are moving to a brand new London location on Little Portland Street.

Valda Goodfellow says, “We are immensely emotional about the move as Baker Street is a big part of our history but we need more space and when Galvins’ closed their Bistrot above us, we felt it was the end of an era and time to move on.”

The Goodfellow & Goodfellow Ltd. showroom houses an incredible selection of the best tableware in hospitality, which continues to grow each week. Paul Goodfellow is pleased, too, that there is going to be more space for customers saying, “Sometimes we have so many people in our showroom that we have to coordinate how and when we move from one section to the next. It will be good to have a bit of space.”

The collection, which appeals to hotels, restaurants and caterers of all kinds, will be extended to show more new products, as well as the existing ranges. ‘We really have so much innovation in the pipeline. It will be exciting to start with a whole new way of displaying what we do.’

As always, Goodfellows like to celebrate their continued success and thank their customers for making it all possible. The showroom will open for appointments on 11th June, with the official launch party on the 19th. “We could not have achieved this incredible growth without the support of our friends, customers and staff,” says Paul, “They drive us on to keep ahead of the competition and this move marks a really important stage in our development.”

The party-goers will be served ‘Little Portland Pies’ specially created for the event by Calum Franklin, Pretty Sweet treats created by Claire Clark, Little Portland Ale & Beer, and Champagne. Invitations are being sent (GDPR willing) so Valda asks that you contact them if you haven’t received yours

“Some people don’t realise that they have to opt in to our marketing for us to be able to send them things like this, so please let us know if you haven’t received your invitation,” says Valda.

Goodfellow & Goodfellow Ltd. started the business from scratch in January 2012, in the middle of a recession and some unique challenges to conquer. Their turnover for 2018 exceeded £6.4m and they now employ 29 staff from their Head Office in the North of England and their London operation.
