Top Tabletop Companies Join Forces for The American Hospitality Market

Another tabletop marriage for the American market – this time it is Frieling, the Charlotte, NC based supplier of food preparation tools, serveware, and bakeware, joining forces with Germany’s Seltmann Weiden porcelain who has previously been distributing to their customers through their Chicago-area warehouse.

To continue the growth of the Seltmann Weiden business in North America, management at Seltmann is making a move that will allow the brand to take their business to the next level while offering more support and service for their customers.  As of September 1, 2012, Frieling USA Inc. will be the exclusive Seltmann Weiden distributor in the United States and Canada.  Operating with Frieling, the Seltmann brand will be able to enjoy greater economies of scale and to leverage Frieling’s market knowledge, expertise and systems.  Johannes Kraus, the long-term contact at Seltmann USA will be joining the Frieling team. “Johannes and I are very excited to join forces, “ comments Udo Robitsch, Frieling’s National Sales Manager for the hospitality industry. “We have collaborated for some time on an informal basis and now, this is more specific.
