Since many of you are reading today the Q&A with Bar Boulud – London’s Sommelier David Vareille, I thought I would post the above photo showing the interior designed by….who else (?) Adam Tihany. Located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Bar Boulud shares culinary billing with Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, the newest venue by the top U.K. chef of the same name.

According to reports, when Dinner by Heston’s reservation line first opened up, they took 6000 reservations in the first eight hours! Seems like the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hyde Park is becoming quite the culinary destination!
