New tabletop products, improved attendee traffic, and an energetic vibe marked the  first two days of the tabletop portion of this year’s IHMRS Show.

New products ranged from Eastern Tabletop’s new magnetic STICKY BRICKS (shown below), which made for fabulous tabletop displays in the Tabletop Challenge but also work great for buffets, to Hospitality Glass Brands new colors in their incredibly popular FORUM Tumbler (above) series. Steelite’s new SEDONA from Anfora (shown at right) line of dinnerware drew big attention for its desert-like colors and great stackability, making it a very practical solution for those operators looking to save a little space.

Steelite’s new SEDONA from Anfora was one of the new product hits of this year’s IHMRS Show.

Speaking of space saving ideas, Arcoroc’s STACK UP collection of stackable barware seemed to be getting plenty of interest by operators looking for stylish, yet practical glassware. Brought to market by Cardinal Glass, these stack-friendly glasses come in both short tumbler and hi-ball sizes.

The Rosenthal and Sambonet brands showed plenty of great products with both backstamps, with their Platinum SKIN Rosenthal dinnerware and the corresponding SKIN flatware from Sambonet getting plenty of love from the participating designers in the Tabletop Challenge competition.

As always, the Front of The House booth provided a great entryway to the tabletop category with lots of new products, a high energy level, and customers who were certain to enjoy spending time with one of the most creative tabletop companies today.

All in all, this year’s version of the IHMRS Show has been a good first step for the tabletop category in returning to its place as a design-driven, fun, category that truly makes a difference for restaurateurs and operators who are looking to differentiate their guest dining experience.
