Ultraviolet is the first experimental restaurant of its kind, attempting to unite food with multi-sensorial technologies in order to create a fully immersive dining experience. Conceived by chef Paul Pairet, Ultraviolet offers a single table of just 10 seats. Its 20-course “Avant-Garde” set menu is enhanced by a taste-tailored atmosphere delivered by the restaurant’s specifically designed technology. Studio William’s Baobab Satin and Karri patterns enhance the sensory experience.

“You have to listen to Studio William’s founder William Welch to understand that cutlery can be a life passion,” Pairet said. “One of the main things I love is that there’s always a key purpose for every Studio William design. It’s not just being creative or beautiful for its own sake, it has reasons and functions, which is similar to my own approach and makes Studio William the perfect cutlery partner for Ultraviolet.”

William Welch, chief executive of Studio William, said, “The sensory experiences of dining have always been a major influence on our cutlery designs. We are thrilled to be a partner in the world’s first multi-sensorial restaurant and wish Paul every success with Ultraviolet.”
