The festival runs from 14-23 September 2012. All competition entries will be on display, alongside the seven Studio William patterns recently added to the V&A’s permanent collection as examples of contemporary British design.

Speaking about the seven SW patterns, Rachel Church, curator in the Sculpture, Metalwork, Ceramics and Glass Department at the V&A said: “The Studio William patterns represent excellent examples of contemporary British cutlery design.
