German glass maker Schott Zwiesel is back with three new lines of wine glasses. FIESTA, MODO, and SIMPLIFY have all been making their debut rounds since the trade show season for the year began.

FIESTA, debuts with an organic and compact form. The concept is to be aesthetically sophisticated, functional by all marks, and compact. The range was designed with professional users in mind, and is a perfect wine glass option when hosting large events.

The Tritan strength in its design also makes it a top tier candidate for the rough and tough nature of the back of the house.

MODO (pictured at the bottom) draws its inspiration from the German Bauhaus architecture movement. You can see that in the straight, hard lines that make up the cubic shape of the wine glasses.

Sitting on a pretty broadly tapered stem, MODO definitely commands attention for its non traditional aesthetics but it still manages to fit in comfortably in a crowd full of wine glasses.

Lastly, geared towards most of the world’s major wine styles, SIMPLIFY aims to be the wine glass that can do both. Simplify follows a fairly “simple” philosophy: every glass is equally suited to both red and white wine.

What you get, in effect, is all wine styles and aromas being represented with just five basic shapes: Light & Fresh, Fruity & Delicate, Velvety & Sumptuous, and finally Flavorsome & Spicy. The names of the shapes describe what aromas your wine of choice should have but of course apply to either color wine.

Design wise you get a similar look to Schott’s MODO line but with softer edges. Simplify also falls under the Zwiesel 1872 umbrella, which marks SIMPIFLY as a more exclusive, high end brand.
