Gil Gold and Tamir Levy of Rosseto Serving Solutions came to America with a vision for the food service and hospitality segment: design, quality, and functionality.

What ended up following, as Nils Hughes, VP of Global Sales and International Development, would put it, was a very “strategic and aggressive move towards growing that vision into reality”. Ten years later, with a top position in the US market, currently checking in at 40% YTD growth, expecting 100% growth reports by the end of the year, and goals of expanding into the European and Latin American market, it seems as though they are accomplishing what they originally set out to do.

Rosseto has always been, first and foremost, a design company. They produce and offer innovative, creative, and functional solutions for displaying, dispensing, and serving food. All of which are evident in founder Tamir Levy, whom Hughes went on to say is, in fact, the most talented designer he’s ever had the privilege of working with.

“Tamir’s quite literally the most talented designer I know. His attention to detail, every single curve or edge, it’s intentional. It’s thought out and absolutely unique. There is no designer I’ve ever met that puts such thought and detail and precision into every single piece to make sure that it not only looks beautiful, but that its also 100% functional,” says Hughes.

But when you’re products are used everywhere, including personally by celebrities like Justin Timberlake and Paris Hilton, you’re bound to bump into a few companies that might be a little “too inspired” by your creativity. Case in point – Ambiente 2016, when a Chinese company took the exact design template for Rosseto’s SWAN BUFFET RISER SYSTEM. Luckily, Rosseto’s creativity has been backed up by American, European, and German patents forcing the Chinese company to take down their counterfeit products. Can you say… #DefendDesign!

Rosseto’s rise has been remarkable by any standard. While not quite “tabletop,” TabletopJournal is continuously impressed by the boundaries Rosseto has continued to push forward. Tamir Levy said it best, “Rosseto is design” and with new products always on the horizon we look forward to seeing what else they can bring to the food service and hospitality segment.
