Author Bobrow is a former successful banker who decided that there might be better ways continue his passion for the cocktail world. But, don’t expect this trilogy to be boring, mechanical “how-to’s” as the author brings his wit and wisdom to the pages in the form of history lessons (who knew that the word “whiskey” is derived form the Scots-Gaelic phrase usige beatha, or “water of life”?) or admonitions (don’t skip the salt…it’s an important ingredient!).
