RAK Porcelain USA, the American branch of UAE-based RAK Porcelain, has announced the appointment of Franz Tarafa to the position of Region Sales Manager.

Both the RAK Porcelain brand and the brand of our partner company, Stolzle Glassware, are poised for exciting growth, and we look forward to Franz helping us to accelerate that growth even more,” states RAK USA Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing John Marino. “Franz’s vast industry experience and knowledge should make him a great fit into our growing team.”
Tarafa will remain based in the Miami area and will be responsible for all sales activities in the Southeastern United States along with being responsible for certain key accounts. Tarafa will report to RAK USA Vice President, East Coast Sales, Paul LeBarron.
Prior to joining RAK USA, Tarafa spent more than 18 years with key manufacturers, supply chain groups and as a manufacturer’s representative. Among the companies that Tarafa spent time with are Churchill China, Oneida, and Edward Don & Company.
Tarafa is also a military veteran having served in the United States Army in both the 1st Calvary Division and the 2nd Infantry Division.
