We’ve talked before about RAK Porcelain and its fondness of going over the top in introducing lots of new products. And while we like a lot of their new dinnerware collections, it’s their new SUGGESTIONS Series that has gotten our attention lately.
SUGGESTIONS is a wide collection of serving pieces designed by Spanish dinnerware designer Gemma Bernal to have maximum visual impact for the dining guests. Creative chefs will enjoy any of the 10 “mini” collections contained in the SUGGESTIONS Series.
New SHAPED was designed Gemma Bernal for RAK Porcelain from a desire was to emphasize a new way of sharing food by creating organic shaped plates and bowls, using natural textures inside and beautiful irregular overlaps. The smooth shapes invite the touch of your hand.
From the textured finish and irregular shaped plates and bowls of the SHAPED collection through to the sensory opportunities found in the AMAZE collection. There is something for everyone in the new SUGGESTIONS Series from RAK Porcelain.

There’s even a great new coffee and espresso set – SWIRLS that will tempt even the most dedicated baristas to re-think how they’re serving coffee and espresso to their guests. New SWIRLS is designed specially to improve the way coffee is swirled within the cup.
There can be no question that designing a better guest experience is at the forefront of the designs that designer Bernal and RAK have collaborated on with the new SUGGESTIONS Series.
And, an additional note about designer Gemma Bernal.
Bernal, is a native of Barcelona and an award-winning multidisciplinary industrial designer, who has been creating street furniture, lighting, toys, appliances and, yes, dinnerware for 40 years.
Bernal is also sought after to address conferences and participate in exhibitions around the world. She is also an internationally recognized academic.
Bernal teaches at various higher education institutions in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Mexico and India…..all in addition to the work she does in transmitting her passion to future generations of designers at the University of Barcelona.
The work she has done in collaboration with RAK Porcelain in creating the new Suggestions Series is living proof the designer Gemma Bernal definitely “walks her talk”.
