Exciting things are happening for RAK Porcelain Europe as the delegation from Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Royal Highnesses Guillaume and Stephanie, accompanied by the Minister of Economy Etienne Schneider and a delegation of businessmen, went to Ras al-Khaimah to visit RAK Porcelain.

This visit was part of a trade mission to establish the new European headquarters of RAK Porcelain Europe, situated in Krakelstaff, a logistics and railway hub in Bettembourg, Luxembourg. This Bettembourg railway terminal is an ideal geographic location in the heart of Europe with easy access to other ports in the North Sea such as Artwerpen, Belgium.

According to RAK Porcelain Europe’s Managing Director, Claude Peiffer, “We have grown out of our premises for the European headquarters and now we will invest approximately $10 million USD into a new, larger logistics facility, also based in Luxembourg.”

The new logistics headquarters, of which RAK Porcelain has invested 7.5 million Euros, will be 6,500 square meters in size, made up of a 5,500 square meter warehouse and a 1,000 square meter office and showroom.

The European headquarters will create around 12 new jobs within the next 3 years. Annually, RAK Porcelain produces 28 million items with 11 million being distributed from Luxembourg to 40 countries in Europe.
