Out-of-home consumption of tea in the U.K. has grown 10% versus a year ago Allegra’s World Coffee Portal reported not long ago. Additionally, out-of-home tea sales are expected to be strong for the next five years, with premium and specialty teas, along wellness teas such as kombucha and matcha.

As hospitality operators look to trending beverage products such as teas, its likely that tabletop suppliers will benefit from products targeted specifically to help better merchandise these growth beverage areas.

Often, it can be development of new ranges of products for improving the overall tea experience for the guests or possibly something as simple as re-grouping various products and – in the case of tea –  showcasing the benefits of offering a better tea service in your restaurant or café.
