We’ve been saying for a while it’s a returning trend to use F&B as a differentiator for hotel properties (any kind of property – retail, etc. – for that matter!) and it’s great to see another hotel positioning themselves as a culinary destination.
Interstate Hotels & Resorts, a leading powerhouse in third-party hotel and resort management, announces the completion of a $25 million renovation of the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa in Dana Point, California. The project includes a complete rooms makeover, and the introduction of an exciting new food and beverage concept, Outer Reef, from Chef John Tesar, a four-time James Beard nominated chef, and a two-time contestant on Bravo’s “Top Chef,” currently slated to open first quarter of 2019.
“I’m honored to be a part of this exciting new F&B concept,” said Chef Tesar. “Outer Reef will showcase the property’s renowned beachfront location with a curated sea-to-table surf and turf dining concept, providing guests with an experience of the highest quality.”
