USA Today is reporting that New York City’s landmark Essex House hotel on prestigious Central Park South will again become part of the Marriott network – this time as a JW Marriott property.

Marriott International CEO Arne Sorenson says. “It feels like we’ve spent the last 10 years trying to get this (hotel) back,” Sorenson just told Hotel Check-In during a phone interview. Marriott International owned the hotel and ran it as a Marriott between 1969 and 1985, he said.
