We talk about differentiation on tabletops all the time and we can pretty confidently say: Mealplak is different.

In an industry packed to the rim with shades of white and black dinnerware, French tableware company Mealplak stands out with a lush array of bright colors that would be at home in a Warhol exhibit. But the differentiation doesn’t stop there.

The majority of Mealplak’s products are made with a patented acrylic derivative called Narcyl. While they don’t look and feel like “plastic,” they’ve definitely got a look that separates themselves from porcelain, at times reminding us of a high-end resin. The Narcyl mixture also has a translucent property to it which makes for a fun glowing aesthetic when you put lights under them. Its also important to note that while Nacryl might be a new type of dinnerware to deal with, it still holds up to all the durability, functionality, and cleanliness standards of the industry.

From buffet stands to plates in an array of colors like raspberry or mandarin, Mealplak certainly has a memorable range to choose from. Recently acquired by Revol, a pretty important cosign, the colorful French company clearly shows no sign of slowing down.
