Magisso, the Finnish company specializing in creative tabletop and kitchenware design solutions, was chosen for the Global Innovation Award in the tabletop category in the annual New Product Showcase at the recent International Home and Housewares Show. The selection, made by a jury of 21 judges, chose Magisso‘s PINO wine glass out of a strong arrangement of finalists that included top design brands such as Alessi, Eva Solo, and Sagaform. The CEO and Founder, Juhani Siren, was quoted saying, “The Global Innovation Award is a significant recognition for us, since besides judging the design, the jury also assessed the commercial potential of the product.”
It is easy to see why
Magisso‘s PINO wine glass was selected as winner: the short stem and heavier body lowers the center of gravity, allowing for a more stable glass while keeping the drink insulated against heat from hands. The short design also makes it dishwasher safe and fully stackable for easy storage and efficient serving. Overall the design enhances the user experience through comfort and ease of use.
