Commissioned by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Hilton Cleveland Downtown’s one-bedroom Rock and Roll Suite is filled with replicas and memorabilia from legendary rock and roll artists. The dining room table features a smashed guitar signed by former Parliament-Funkadelic member and Rock Hall Inductee Bootsy Collins, while superimposed lyrics from Jimi Hendrix’s renowned “Purple Haze” song grace the walls. The bathroom is styled in the image of piano keys and Woodstock-inspired red flower lights hang from the ceiling throughout the suite. A giant red lips couch is placed at the foot of the king bed.
Floor-to-ceiling windows in the suite provide guests with an unobstructed view of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, located just a few blocks away, serving as a reminder that the city of Cleveland was the birthplace of the phrase “rock and roll” coined by Cleveland disc jockey Alan Freed.
