The benefits of being detachable are very real: they are easier for the venue to wash and store; emptied plates can easily be replaced by the server by just swapping out one emptied plate with one filled plate; costs are reduced because if one breaks just the part that broke is lost (either the plate or the pedestal), not the entire riser; and they are more affordable than products of comparable quality.
Available in 4”, 6” and 8” heights, each pedestal is back stamped referencing the number of the corresponding plate, thus reducing confusion.
Like all new Syracuse China products, the back stamp clearly identifies the pattern name, body color, and specific item number.And since they are made of thin, light, white Royal Rideau body material, both are fully vitrified and carry Syracuse China’s Lifetime No Chip Warranty! Also, it complements all other Royal Rideau patterns perfectly! Its body color is exactly the same as all other Royal Rideau items.
