Libbey Foodservice launches its Artistry Collection to its North American customers. No rest for the busy. Coming off last year’s many new product launches, Libbey Foodservice steps the tempo up to an even higher level with the launch of their new Artistry Collection. This new, top-tier hospitality tabletop array features world class tabletop brands such as Schonwald dinnerware, Spiegelau and Nachtmann glassware, and Reed & Barton flatware.

Libbey Foodservice has introduced their Artistry Collection to their North American customers to inspire restaurant chefs who want to create true fine dining masterpieces. This wide assortment of inspiring products does much more than simply look pretty….they are exclusive pieces that have been artfully selected for creative versatility and uncompromising performance within a hospitality setting.
Starting with global dinnerware leader Schonwald, this new collection sets a very different tone from the previous Libbey Foodservice offerings. Schonwald brings a long and storied heritage of hospitality industry expertise to this new partnership. This German producer knows that apart from the high functional requirements, hotel porcelain needs to fulfill a variety of duties: It has to present culinary creations in an appealing way, stimulate the guests’ appetites and fit in harmoniously with its surroundings. If it manages to accentuate the distinctive character of a restaurant, the porcelain also becomes an ambassador of the chef’s personal concept. In short, Schonwald “gets” dinnerware within the hospitality industry environment, understanding both the opportunities…and the requirements.

It is also great to see that Libbey has chosen to showcase some of the newer, creative designs from Schonwald. Long known for their classic dinnerware designs like DONNA, MARQUIS, and EVENT, Schonwald has in recent years also introduced more on-trend products like POTTERY, WELLCOME. Nice to see them included in Libbey’s Artistry Collection.

Schonwald’s WELLCOME dinnerware comes in a variety of colors such as Red Clay, Beige, and Black Plum.

Fluent in optimizing both the visual and tactile experiences, Reed & Barton has been providing premiere tableware and distinctive design since 1824 and, now, thru Libbey Foodservice those elements now are coming to the hospitality segment. This extraordinary selection of fine 18/10 stainless steel and silverplated flatware can match any tabletop vision, from intriguing drama to simple sophistication. Whether it is the regal, classic look of Reed & Barton’s PORTICO or the more contemporary design of their EAST END – SATIN flatware, Libbey Foodservice has brought the strengths of Reed & Barton to the hospitality customer.

While Libbey Foodservice has been offering flatware to its customers for quite some time, this new level of quality, design, and sophistication from Reed & Barton has products to appeal to even the most discriminating hospitality customers.

The game at Libbey Foodservice is changing. With tabletop products that appeal to hospitality customers from top to bottom, the concept of Libbey providing “total tabletop” is being redefined. The question is no longer does Libbey have a tabletop product that fits for a particular foodservice customer….the question is which one?
