There is a plethora of flatware and cutlery available to the hospitality clients around the world. However, it’s doubtful that many of the products are born with the level of creative – and practical – DNA as those from Italy’s La Tavola.

La Tavola reflects the passion of Giulio and Sergio Sambonet, brothers and founders who share an unending desire to create art for the table. With the support of an experienced, expert and equally enthusiastic team, they are proud to present new flatware patterns in stainless steel, silverplated and titanium-coated finishes regularly at top trade fairs throughout the world. Flatware designs from La Tavola include both Classic and Trend Forward designs such as YUKI (below).

For the team at La Tavola, it is very rewarding to design a new product. Creating a new product involves identifying and guessing future trends, thinking one step ahead of fashion, and expressing it in material and form. Designing beautiful flatware is not within everyone’s reach. But, clearly you can see that it is something that the team at La Tavola has a firm grasp on.

Good taste, sensitivity, and above all else, experience is required: every item is the result of painstaking attention to the details that make each pattern unique. To create a great flatware pattern one needs to make sure all of the ingredients – weight, harmony of shape, proportion, ergonomics, balance – are present in exactly the right proportions. This is where La Tavola excels and differentiates itself from lesser competitors.

Many years of experience in the hospitality trade are necessary to create a beautiful flatware design that will be recognized and loved at first sight. Another point of difference which keeps La Tavola ahead of others.

The patterns of the company’s flatware collection have been designed by La Tavola R&D Team under the supervision of Giulio and Sergio Sambonet.

La Tavola also makes a variety of other products for the hospitality industry such as holloware and accessories, buffet service items, and even a porcelain dinnerware line. Recently, the company added a collection of buffet and cocktail tables and back bars. Rest assured that the same creative DNA that you will find in the La Tavola flatware runs equally throughout in these products, as well.
