In their first joint chinaware line development effort since the Homer Laughlin China Company (HLC Inc.) acquired neighboring Hall China, the two veteran china companies utilized their combined manufacturing acumen to expand the highly popular HLC Bosque Collection, a “rustic casual” dinnerware line now enhanced by specialty pieces from Hall as well as a new color. Bosque is available in five woodland-themed colors: Rich Moss, Maple, Chestnut, Goldenrod, and new Blueberry. The new pieces in the Bosque Collection are a creamer, a sugar stick holder, and two platters, one in a square shape and the other a triangle.

Homer Laughlin’s BOSQUE COLLECTION comes in Chestnut, Rich Moss, Maple, (all shown) and Goldenrod and Blueberry (not shown). “Combining the specialized manufacturing capabilities of Homer Laughlin and Hall China—both leaders of the commercial dinnerware/tableware industry—allows both companies to round out and complete each other’s offerings. That is an added benefit of bringing Hall China into HLC,” says Joseph M. Wells III, Homer Laughlin company president and CEO. “We are extraordinarily pleased to be able to tap the expertise of the venerable Hall China. Our investment in streamlining plant operations and sharing technologies gives us the best of both companies’ worlds.”
