HX: The Hotel Experience announced the winners of its Editors’ Choice Awards and TECHPitch competitions during the November 11-12, 2018 show held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

Judges for the 23rd Editors’ Choice Awards were Glenn Hasek, Green Lodging News; Stefani O’Connor, Hotel Management; Michael Scinto, Total Food Service; and Gregg Wallis, Hotel Business.

The 4th annual TECHPitch competition took place on the HX Tech Stage where HX Exhibitor finalists showcased their unique tech product and services in a short presentation to a panel of esteemed judges which were made up of hospitality industry thought leaders: Valerie Ferguson – Regional General Manager, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. Are Morch – Hotel Blogger and Social Media Consultant, Gregory J Pesik – Managing Director, Applied Intelligence, Accenture, Vijay Dandapani – President & CEO, Hotel Association of NYC.

The TECHPitch winner was BEEKEEPER (Oakland, CA) BEEKEEPER is a team communication platform that empowers employee connection, facilitates workplace engagement, and increases productivity through unified communications.
