HostMilano is the biennial world leading event in technology, formats, and integrated contract solutions for coffee and food equipment. Here’s what you need to know about #Host2017, by the numbers.
It lasts 5 days and is organized in 3 macro-areas: Professional Catering, with bread, pizza, and pasta; Coffee-Tea, with bars, coffee and vending machines, ice-creams and pastries; Furnishings and Tableware. The 40th edition will take place at fieramilano from 20 to 24 October 2017.
In 2015, we exceeded the threshold of 150,000 visitors for the first time (+17% compared to 2013). 90,585 of these visitors were Italian and 60,383 came from 172 countries.
So far, the companies that have confirmed their presence are 1,437, of which 500 (41%) are international exhibitors. The most represented countries are Germany (with 86 companies), Spain, France and the United States, followed by the United Kingdom, Greece, Switzerland, Netherlands, and Portugal.
Some of the target areas of this edition: USA, Canada and the Middle East. Activities will be implemented in these areas to increase the number of qualified visitors, also through agreements with authoritative local associations.
Over 1,500 hosted buyers will be attending the event. Thanks to increasing investment in profiling and collaboration with ITA – Italian Trade Agency, there will be new participants and an ever-growing array of products.
The € 2 million campaign (on average) includes visibility in major international newspapers, and will bring over 1,000 international journalists to Host 2017, including 100 news correspondents, who will also visit Milan and the rest of Italy.
