Hollowick is back with a slew of new products! For those unaware, Hollowick is a New York based company that delivers a full range of lighting solutions for the hospitality sector. They’ve been around for nearly 50 years and while candle lighting might not be everyone’s passion of choice, for Hollowick, they’ve certainly grown their passion into a major tabletop player without the need for dinner or glass ware.

And hey, they’ve got some pretty cool stuff going on, as well!

a combination of style and personality to tabletops. WELD takes a similar page from GEAR, with a weathered and rustic mid-sized lamp that feels chic but definitely embodies the industrial look they’re clearly going for. The CAULDRON votive dons a hammered copper exterior and emanates an alluring glow that makes it impossible to resist taking a peak inside the pot. The DATA lamp is another great addition to Hollowick’s catalog. Its black exterior is filled with futuristic hieroglyphics that glow gold as the light candle is lit.

On the less glamorous side of things they also introduced a new fuel cell for their lamps, the HD8, which can fit in anywhere a tea light could but lasts 8 hours, twice that of a regular tea light candle. Obviously with advent of electronic tabletop lighting, this makes sticking to traditional wick based lighting practical for operators that want to create a mood through lighting, but don’t want to deal with some of the challenges that come with tech based lighting.

Sometimes we get a little too caught up in the forks and knives of it all and forget to give love to other parts of the tabletop dining experience that might get pushed to the side when the food comes out. Truth is though, table lighting can just as much affect a guest’s experience at your venue as any other tabletop product you can list. And whenever we do forget that, Hollowick starts a fire and catches our attention to remind us of just that.
