 CHALLENGES : Guy Degrenne Industrie has been relying on CATIA for twenty years to design its cutlery and table-setting ranges, as well as its new china ranges. The manufacturer was seeking to optimise the use of the CATIA solution to reduce the time required to put its products on the market.

SOLUTIONS : CATIA + ENOVIA SmarTeam. BENEFITS : “We have reduced the time required to produce the first cutlery stamping matrix from 8 to only 2 weeks”, M. Van Boxsom, Director Cutlery Division, Guy Degrenne Industrie.

With CATIA, modelling times are reduced, raw material cutting processes are optimised and CAM processes standardised. The manufacturer uses ENOVIA SmarTeam to manage its technical documents, keep them safe and safeguard its know-how. The two solutions generate considerable time savings, allowing Guy Degrenne Industrie to invest in new product ranges and pursue its development strategy.
