Glass Studio does it again with unique ability to create just the right the design and overall aesthetic for fine dining tabletops around the globe. This time, the client happens to be the Banyan Tree in Macau and the design is a plate for serving oysters, keeping in mind that oysters are a synonym of sophisticated dining experience, associated with opulence and romance. Although relatively easy to cook and garnish, serving oysters in fine dining set up can be a bit tricky. This is especially the case with delicate raw oysters served on a bed of crushed ice, where the presentation can sometimes get a bit messy.

The oyster plate design that Glass Studio created for the fine dining restaurant is based on deep glass bowl shape on a pedestal supporting the dish. This plate design provides enough room for the crushed ice (without spilling) and allows oysters to be placed like a small display. Glass Studio designers used the leaf-like floral pattern in gold color, this added just enough elegance and style to suit a contemporary dining setting.

Part of the Galaxy Macau, the Banyan Tree Macau resort comprises 246 suites, including the ultra-exclusive Presidential Suite and 10 pool villas. It is the first high-rise urban resort in Macau. Working closely with each client to insure they understand both the aesthetic and the practical goals for each piece, Glass Studio creates luxury custom made glass dinner plates and glass dinner sets that provide solutions for any restaurant tabletop design.
