Small sauce bowls for flavorful yogurts. Glass base infused with “glass flakes” design Glass Studio creates dinnerware serving pieces and accessories that differentiate the dining experience in all types of restaurants, particularly in the fine dining sector.

Fine dining is associated with exquisite food, sophisticated ambiance and impeccable service – tasks restaurants take very seriously. Earlier this year one of  London’s favorite fine dining spots, Quilon, underwent a refurbishment project to refresh its decor and expand its offer. The Michelin-awarded restaurant launched new interior, as well a private dining room and stylish QBar.

Glass Studio continued collaboration with Quilon’s owner and executive chef Sriram Aylur, and delivered tableware designs that complement restaurant’s concept, menu and decor.

Quilon is famous for its contemporary take on traditional south-west coastal Indian cuisine and dishes “that are created with flair, style and deep respect for the ingredients”. Glass Studio had a mission to create dinnerware that would deliver elegant food presentation and also highlight the eclectic flair of the menu.

Glass dining plate with white metallic rim One of the most beautiful designs that Glass Studio created was certainly the “picture frame” dessert plate (shown below) with metallic tobacco brown rim. The design of the plate matched the accents of the interior as well as acting as a perfect backdrop to showcase confectionery delights.

The creative artists at Glass Studio have a talent for working with their clients and developing practical and innovative serving solutions for hospitality customers around the globe.
