The battle between dinnerware made from melamine and ceramic dinnerware continues to escalate with a just-published post on industry GET Enterprises blog page. In the article, GET exec Dimitri Rizzi raises good points on how the aesthetics of today’s melamine are far away from what they were just a handful of years ago. And, certainly, the practical components of melamine dinnerware are hard to dispute.

But, does the dining guest really not care much about the material of their dinnerware? An interesting question, with a myriad of answers, depending upon one’s perspective. One thing (actually, two) is for sure… first, as the look and quality of melamine improves, this debate will only intensify; and second… #TabletopMatters
