“Passion for Table Culture” – this is the credo and figurehead of Tafelstern, the German porcelain manufacturer from Selb. The manufacturer of premium porcelain delights the ambitious, international restaurant and hotel segment time and again with finest-quality hard porcelain collections, exceptional patterns and designs and unusual styles.

With the new ‘DELIGHT’ collection, Tafelstern brings a surprise in time for the spring trade shows and another dinnerware made from their new, proprietary material – Noble China.

“With the Delight collection, we are entering previously uncharted and extremely exciting terrain,”, says Gabriele Dettelbacher, Head of Marketing at Tafelstern. “Because, instead of using the familiar hard porcelain for DELIGHT, we have chosen Noble China for the Delight collection, a completely new material that impresses in many respects”, Ms Dettelbacher continues.

The innovative Noble China hard porcelain from Tafelstern is also fired at a temperature of over 1,400°C – this process makes the glaze extremely resilient and brings the extra benefits of high cut and scratch resistance and a particularly long service life. High resistance to rim chipping is a particularly welcome feature in the everyday world of gastronomy and, despite the particularly thin edges, is extraordinarily high in pieces manufactured in Noble China.

As no animal components or toxic elements such as lead or cadmium are used in the production of Noble China, it is also the first choice for users who attach particular importance to ethical and health concerns.

“The thin edges lend Delight a look of exceptional lightness. Our customers receive a porcelain that appears delicate, but has its own, unique resilience. This is what we wean when we use the term contemporary luxury”, says Gabriele Dettelbacher. “This impression of sheer elegance is further enhanced by the BoneWhite color. This color shade remains constant throughout the production process and ensures that pieces from different production batches harmonize to perfection.”

New DELIGHT from Tafelstern reflects what must be the most intimate union of finest materials and uniquely expressive design. This uniqueness also impressed Claus Gromotka, Chef de Cuisine at Restaurant Murnauer Reiter: “Three very persuasive arguments influenced our decision to choose this particular collection: that it is made in Germany, that DELIGHT is a new arrival on the market and its timelessly classic design.”
