Around since the 1950’s Eastern Tabletop has always been known for its great craftsmanship and creative products, but until recently had Eastern had been thought of primarily as a buffet company.

At the just completed IHMRS Show in New York, Eastern Tabletop debuted its new STICKY BRICKS line of magnetic metal “bricks” that can be used to created endless display opportunities on both tabletop and buffets. In fact, Eastern Tabletop’s STICKY BRICKS were used in all five of the competing tabletop displays in the show’s Tabletop Challenge competition.

The STICKY BRICKS have a strong magnetic power and strongly stick to each other creating opportunities for displays up to three levels high. Current finishing of STICKY BRICKS is of a high quality heavy satin, stainless steel. Colors will be available towards the beginning of 2014, as Eastern Tabletop is in the process of perfecting their color coating options.

Designer Kevin McGrinder used Eastern Tabletop’s STICKY BRICKS to give elevation to his tabletop display and to provide an artistic complement to the platinum dinnerware he chose. Note: Eastern Tabletop’s BRANCH bowl was also used as a base for the table lighting that McGrinder chose. Eastern Tabletop also showcased its new LeXus Buffet Risers at the IHMRS Show. Versatility is the key word with these metal support pieces. LeXus easily combines with any glass, steel, solid surface, plastic tray or platter and can be used with a Sterno hook or shelf for heated buffet.
Finishing options for LeXus vary from mirror polish, satin stainless steel to a choice of any powder coated color….but it’s clear that its all about maximum flexibility and minimal storage with Eastern’s new LeXus risers.

Eastern Tabletop spokesperson Howard Michaelson talks about the limitless possibilities that of the LeXus system in the video at right.
