London-based restaurant group D&D London announced plans to expand and is readying to open in New York City adding to the 30+ restaurants they already have operating throughout England, Paris, and Tokyo.
The nearly $200 million USD volume company plans to open Bluebird London in New York’s Columbus Circle next month, according to WSJ.com. Drawing comparisons to Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, D&D London hopes to quickly expand in NYC with several other concepts in areas such as Hudson Yards.
