Brazil’s Gisele Gandolfi – São Paulo Source for Rustic Restaurant Dinnerware

More and more, we are seeing rustic, organic-looking dinnerware returning to restaurant tabletops. TabletopJournal loves the way restaurant chefs are connecting the local ingredients being used in menu items with the locally-made dinnerware and serving pieces being used. We have continued our profiles of this trend and the people behind it with our newest profile of Brazil’s Gisele Gandolfi from Atelier Muriqui. 

Located in just outside São Paulo, Gisele Gandolfi has been working with top Brazilian restaurants and hotels for more than 10 years. Her Atelier Muriqui has strong roots in the place where it was designed and built, working with local hand labor in a way that is stimulating, creating and generating local employment to the rural community where reduce, reuse and recycle is a way of life here.
