Whiskey cocktails are some of the oldest and most original mixed drinks in the world.  They’re also some of the most customizable and delicious.  At Men’s Journal, writer Ari Bendersky recently released a list of whiskey cocktails for the purist in us all.

The most notable and one of the classic whiskey drinks was the Whiskey Smash.  Some restaurants will use specific berries and fruits, while others change the concoction seasonally.  It’s a simple yet elegant drink with Bourbon, mint, lemon, and simple syrup served in a rocks glass.

Another cocktail was the Georgian Victory.  This drink was inspired by the summer season and was designed to recreate the experience of biting into a fresh Georgia peach in a cocktail form.  It combines rye, Chartreuse, Amaro, and peach bitters strained and served in a coupe glass.

Along with all being whiskey drinks, all of these beverages require something else too – the proper glassware.  The wrong glass could make or break the entire drink.  Just like how you wouldn’t serve wine in rocks glass or beer in a martini glass, choosing the right glassware is tantamount in these beverages.

Remember…. #TabletopMatters!
