With the 1936 introduction of its signature Fiesta® line, Homer Laughlin’s reputation for artistry and innovation was forever established. Revered for its stunning colors and remarkable durability, Fiesta® became an icon of American design. Reintroduced in the 1980s, Fiesta® remains Homer Laughlin’s best selling line and is today one of the most beloved and collected dinnerware lines in the world. In 1959, Homer Laughlin began serving the restaurant and hotel industry with the launch of a new, fully vitrified china line. With contemporary shapes, colors and patterns added every year Homer Laughlin has a commitment to artistry and integrity that has never wavered. The local Historical Society will honor Homer Laughlin on November 3rd at its annual dinner with a re-inactment of the 1936 Chamber of Commerce dinner where Homer Laughlin was recognized as the Business of The Year following the successful introduction of its Fiesta line of dinnerware, designed by Frederick Rhead.
