Goodfellow and Goodfellow, UK suppliers of innovation to chefs, restaurateurs and contract caterers, are delighted to announce their latest development. They have secured a collaborative relationship with the Royal Worcester brand, part of Portmeirion Group and manufactured by Walpole, based in Burslem, Staffordshire, which is one of the last remaining, totally British bone china manufacturers.

“We believe that the Royal Worcester brand is an exemplar of the rich tradition in English bone china. Combining heritage with exciting new designs means Royal Worcester is capable of setting the style for modern fine dining,” says Valda Goodfellow, Managing Director and Co-owner of Goodfellow and Goodfellow (G & G). “We are delighted to be developing hospitality demand for Royal Worcester and are also excited to be working with the amazing team at Walpole on new product development. Dual-branding on the Saturn range is a really important development for us and we are incredibly proud to have the Royal Worcester name linked to ours in this way.”

G & G are always searching for the best brands and believe this collaboration will help maintain its reputation as market leaders in the hospitality industry.

Peter Walpole, Director of Walpole, says “We are delighted with this collaboration and the exposure it will bring to the Royal Worcester brand in the hospitality sector.”

G & G will be representing other Portmeirion Group brands in the hospitality sector, including Spode licensed products.

G & G have featured Royal Worcester’s Saturn range in their new Autumn/Winter Portfolio, which launched at the beginning of September. They report that there has already been a fantastic reaction to the collaboration and state “this is only just the start”.

“We are wholly committed to the continued development of our brands in new and existing markets” says Phil Atherton, Group Sales & Marketing Director of Portmeirion Group. “Working with Goodfellow and Goodfellow will allow us to significantly grow our offering and relevance in the high-end hospitality market.”
