The new “Nutmeg Cream” color
This past summer, the company added three new shapes and four new colors to the STONECAST collection. The newest color, Nutmeg Cream, is a perfect fit for the rustic, organic feel of the collection. According to Churchill, the new color was crafted in response to a demand for neutral colors that highlight food presentation.
In total, STONECAST now features ight colors, all inspired by nature and the changing of the seasons. Each piece is hand-painted and unique, finished with a “golden brown band and fine speckle designed to enhance food presentation.”
The STONECAST collection has more to offer than an enticing design—each piece is super vitrified, like many Churchill products. Some of the strongest ceramic products in the world, these super-vitrified pieces are guaranteed to “work as hard as you do.” Each plate is designed to achieve the perfect balance of aesthetics, weight, size, and durability. The STONECAST design is inherently nostalgic, as it was taken from Churchill archives and dates back to James Broadhurst factory from the 1920s. STONECAST fits nicely in the current trend of organic, rustic looking dinnerware. The look is perfect for farm-to-table restaurants and coffee shops, and pairs nicely with a natural wooden tabletop.
