Kahla Porcelain has long been known as a creative leader in interesting designs and shapes in tabletop porcelain. So, I definiely expected to see something new and interesting when I arrived at their booth during the just completed show in Chicago.

Kahla's TOUCH series is a fun, different...and, to me, fascinating product line, with nothing else like that I am aware of. The above picture doesn't do TOUCH justice. This velvety surface covering over porcelain feels great in your hand and comes in a rainbow of colors, according to Gabriela Berenstein, who heads up the U.S. operations of Kahla Porcelain. "Dishwasher safe and stocked in Miami" stated Berenstein as she extolled the virtues of this unique line.
