We've talked about Isinglass before and they are another great example of a cool, little company that continues to quietly go about its business and bring great products to restaurant tabletops.

Now, Isinglass has got a nice concept to save you buffets and banquets money (ok...I know...we're not BuffetJournal, we're TabletopJournal...but you'll like these, no doubt) - skirtless banquet/buffet tables.
To be able to use these well-designed and attractive tables without skirting translates to less laundry costs, lowering overall banqueting/buffet costs. Also, we think it gives a different, a bit unique....look to your banquet or buffet. (you ARE getting the message on differentiation, right?).  Isinglass' tag line is "Redefining Elegance"......we think they've done it here.

So, a unique guest experience and lower costs...what's not to like. Nice job, Isinglass. To see the entire line of Isinglass products, go here:   http://isinglassinc.com/

We received an email from a young chef over the weekend - which is happening with increasing frequency and we like it - who wrote asking who to turn to in looking for a good source for small, glass sauce dishes to go with her white dinnerware. After complimenting her on wanting to add color to her monochromatic table, we suggested a company that often goes under-appreciated, Isinglass.
Isinglass owes its name to a company friend who recalled the beauty and magic of crystal clear lake in the Candadian wild name Isinglass and how the texture of the glass reminded him of this beauty.
Isinglass has an incredible line of glass serving pieces, the requisite buffet risers, and even their own line of tables, but I really like their line of small, glass sauce dishes that come in tons of different shapes and colors.
Isinglass's small glass sauce dishes come in lots of shapes and colors...if you don't see what you want ask them. They do custom pieces, too!
Based in Indianapolis, Isinglass has been doing it right  since 2004 and, while they might not be the sexiest product line in foodservice, industry insiders tell me that they are reliable and give a great product for a good price. Besides....isn't the sexy part of the meal coming from you, the chef, anyway!
Isinglass has lots of really cool accessory items for the table.
Who else but Isinglass gives you such an elegant toothpick holder?
We think our chef friend is going to find all she wants ... and more.
