With three distinct plate shapes - each 228 mm/9" in diameter - SKA's healthcare plates are designed to fit into standard active (rethermalising through contact or forced air) or passive (transport of hot or cold meals) systems. RAK Porcelain has done the plates in 1) a 2 compartment, divided plate model, 2) a flat, wide rimmed model, and 3) a flat, narrow rimmed model.

All of RAK Porcelain's flat, non-enamelled bottom plates are designed especially to meet the requirements and constraints of users in the hospital and healthcare foodservice/catering segment.

The TuxCare plates larger contact surface at the bottom promotes better heat dispersion and helps keep food hot during delivery especially when combined with insulated dome covers.
