While Turgla owner Huseyin Ozan discusses their Gural Porcelain line in the above video, we still like the way the Gural porcelain mixes with the fun - and colorful - Turgla glass plates and serving pieces show at the right.
There’s also a synergistic approach with the colored glassware. “The whiteness of the porcelain, combined with the brilliant colors we do in our glassware make for really terrific table settings,” offered Ozan“They really complement each other well.”

U.S. based Turgla offers the hospitality industry a wide range of both high quality porcelain and rainbow of colors in their glass plates, serving pieces, and buffet items. With the trends towards eating more organically and naturally, combined with increasingly health-conscious menus more and more chefs have found  Turgla's glass plates, bowls, and accessories the perfect solution for their guests.

Glass Studio does it again with unique ability to create just the right the design and overall aesthetic for fine dining tabletops around the globe. This time, the client happens to be the Banyan Tree in Macau and the design is a plate for serving oysters, keeping in mind that oysters are a synonym of sophisticated dining experience, associated with opulence and romance.
Although relatively easy to cook and garnish, serving oysters in fine dining set up can be a bit tricky. This is especially the case with delicate raw oysters served on a bed of crushed ice, where the presentation can sometimes get a bit messy.

The oyster plate design that Glass Studio created for the fine dining restaurant is based on deep glass bowl shape on a pedestal supporting the dish. This plate design provides enough room for the crushed ice (without spilling) and allows oysters to be placed like a small display. Glass Studio designers used the leaf-like floral pattern in gold color, this added just enough elegance and style to suit a contemporary dining setting.

Small sauce bowls for flavorful yogurts. Glass base infused with "glass flakes" design
Glass Studio creates dinnerware serving pieces and accessories that differentiate the dining experience in all types of restaurants, particularly in the fine dining sector.

Fine dining is associated with exquisite food, sophisticated ambiance and impeccable service – tasks restaurants take very seriously. Earlier this year one of  London’s favorite fine dining spots, Quilon, underwent a refurbishment project to refresh its decor and expand its offer. The Michelin-awarded restaurant launched new interior, as well a private dining room and stylish QBar.

Glass Studio continued collaboration with Quilon’s owner and executive chef Sriram Aylur, and delivered tableware designs that complement restaurant’s concept, menu and decor.

Quilon is famous for its contemporary take on traditional south-west coastal Indian cuisine and dishes “that are created with flair, style and deep respect for the ingredients”. Glass Studio had a mission to create dinnerware that would deliver elegant food presentation and also highlight the eclectic flair of the menu.
Glass Studio has worked with Quilon from the beginning when it opened.
Glass dining plate with white metallic rim
One of the most beautiful designs that Glass Studio created was certainly the “picture frame” dessert plate (shown below) with metallic tobacco brown rim. The design of the plate matched the accents of the interior as well as acting as a perfect backdrop to showcase confectionery delights.

The creative artists at Glass Studio have a talent for working with their clients and developing practical and innovative serving solutions for hospitality customers around the globe.
